Counselling For Emerging Adults

Early 20s Sessions

Being in your early 20s is usually considered from 20-25 years of age. This is when some really major life changes start happening. This can be a very difficult transitional period for young adults to go through.

Whilst there are many exciting opportunities that can happen throughout this time, an emerging adult might be struggling with big philosophical questions around identity, life purpose and relationships.

Having a safe space to explore these issues and gain clarity over thoughts and feeling can help to create positive life decisions.

We’re here to walk with you through the next stage

Career uncertainty difficulty identifying a life path

Identity exploration of one’s beliefs, values and outlook

Anxiety including feelings of fear, nervousness, worry or panic

Depression including sadness, loss of interest in things and feeling low

Sexuality exploring one’s self and connection to others

Relationship difficulties including partners, parents and friend

How we help

We tailor our sessions to meet the unique needs of each individual. This can mean having a combination of individual sessions, family sessions, or parenting sessions to make sure we resolve the issue from all angles.

What does therapy
involve?

We are flexible in our approach to therapy. We believe this is the best way of making sure each person gets what they need out of therapy.

This means that we might talk, role play, use creative methods or incorporate practical strategies into our sessions based on what you need.
